Could not determine the process id of the java process. Changing the IBMWAS6Service - ibmNode01 service status to the "stopped" state. To prevent this error, try recreating this service with the -logRoot parameter. The value of the logRoot parameter should be the directory in which the server's .pid file is created.
If the WAS is unable to strat and produce the previous error do the following:
  1. Right click on my computer then click manage
  2. GO TO Local User and Groups > Users
  3. Right click on xmeta user > properties (General)
  4. Check the "Passowrd never expires" box
  5. Repeat step 3 and 4 for iauser
  6. Start the WAS again
